Stripped all woodchip wallpaper throughout the lodge. Made good all wall surfaces, applying plaster where required to achieve a smooth, modern finish. Repaired holes and defects in walls and ceilings, followed by a full rub‑down and two coats of wipeable matt emulsion in the client’s chosen colours. Woodwork Restoration Rubbed down all doors, architraves, skirting boards and window sills. Applied undercoat and finished with two coats of durable satin wood paint for a crisp, clean look. Wardrobe & Storage Improvements Panelled wardrobe areas and replaced shelving to improve usability and appearance. ⚡ Electrical Safety & Upgrades Conducted a full electrical test on all sockets and the fuse board. Installed an additional electrical socket in the kitchen to improve functionality. Completed testing to issue an EICR certificate, ensuring the lodge meets current safety standards. 🚿 Kitchen & Bathroom Enhancements Replaced vinyl flooring in both the bathroom and kitchen, making good the subfloor in the bathroom where required. Removed old silicone around the sink and shower and re‑sealed for a clean, watertight finish. 🪟 Finishing Touches That Make a Difference Supplied and fitted new blinds to all windows. Removed and disposed of all existing carpets and underlay. Supplied and fitted new underlay and carpets throughout all rooms and stairs, including gripper rods and door bars. Local Community Planting Project One Group Services Grounds Division were up bright and early one cold November morning leading a community bulb‑planting session at the entrance to one of the estates we maintain. With the help of a small but mighty army of residents and their young ones, our team managed to plant around 1,000 daffodil bulbs around the trees and along the borders of the entrance to the estate. The children were fantastic - enthusiastic planters and full of energy.
