Local Community Planting Project One Group Services Grounds Division were up bright and early one cold November morning leading a community bulb‑planting session at the entrance to one of the estates we maintain. With the help of a small but mighty army of residents and their young ones, our team managed to plant around 1,000 daffodil bulbs around the trees and along the borders of the entrance to the estate. The children were fantastic - enthusiastic planters and full of energy. To make the morning even more memorable, they joined in a One Group treasure hunt, searching for gold coins that could be exchanged for prizes (of course, the coins were made of chocolate, so they got to enjoy them too 🍫). 🌱 We cannot wait until spring, when we’ll get to enjoy the fruits of everyone’s hard work and see these wonderful bulbs burst into flower. Our Grounds Division have been hard at work this week installing planters in a local village. The scope was to bring the green area to life - mission accepted!!
